ClearDesk IT is an AI-powered IT support service for small and medium businesses in the UK and Ireland, operating at cleardeskit.co.uk.

What Data We Collect
We only collect information you actively provide to us. This includes:
- Your name and business email address (from our contact/quote form)
- Your business name and number of staff (if provided)
- A description of your IT issue or enquiry (if provided)
- Messages sent to our AI assistant, Clara
Why We Collect It
We collect your information solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry or quote request
- Provide IT support services to your business
- Communicate with you about your support plan
We will never use your information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we will never sell your data to third parties.
How We Store It
Enquiry submissions are logged securely via our website infrastructure (Netlify). We do not operate a separate customer database.
Conversations with Clara (our AI assistant) are processed via OpenRouter and Anthropic's API. These conversations are not stored by ClearDesk IT beyond the duration of your browser session.
Third Party Services
To provide our service, we use the following trusted third-party providers:
- Netlify — website hosting and form submission processing (US-based, GDPR compliant)
- OpenRouter / Anthropic — AI processing for Clara, our support assistant (US-based, GDPR compliant)
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions (if applicable)
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and GDPR compliance measures in place.
Your Rights Under GDPR
As a business based in Ireland, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Request restriction of processing
